Triumph Law, P.C. Joins MADD at DUI Checkpoint to Promote Safe Driving

Triumph Law, P.C. recently had the opportunity to join Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and local law enforcement officers at a DUI checkpoint in Citrus Heights, California. While there, members of our firm passed out informative cards to drivers to help awareness of the risks that intoxicated and impaired driving cause, as well as to thank everyone for driving safely.If you know the members of our law firm, then you know that we genuinely care about the people in our communities. We are so thankful to MADD and the Citrus Heights Police Department for allowing us to talk about driving safety with locals. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), nearly 30 people in the U.S. die in a drunk driving accident each day. We are on a mission to help bring that number down to 0, and community opportunities such as our time spent at this DUI checkpoint are a big part of making that happen. When we all commit to only driving while sober, we can all do our part.Let us also take this moment to thank you! Mothers Against Drunk Driving was founded in 1980 with one goal in mind: bringing all drunk driving to an end by promoting safe driving behaviors and spreading awareness of drunk driving dangers. Today, MADD has also expanded its focus to provide services to drunk driving accident victims and bring attention to the risks of drug-impaired driving, which are often overlooked or dismissed. The organization accepts donations and arranges volunteer assignments, much like the DUI checkpoint work our team completed.
